I like Japanese life. I tried to think about Japanese life and enjoy the good things about Japan to keep myself motivated.
Everything ! But especially Japanese language and business manners. Thanks to my teacher, I could understand business manners and company custom very well. I also met good friends. Also, I often wrote Japanese sentences on the computer at school. I think this will be very useful for my work.
I thought in IT you don't need to learn much Japanese but it's wrong. Don't come unprepared, really… It may sound stupid but try to prepare your Japanese level as much as possible. I would even say to come at N3 or even better N2 level. More you will be proficient before coming more it will be easy to live here. Or just be a talent in IT. And don't think everything is better in Japan. Like in all country there good and bad. You will definitely hesitate sometimes. That why I would advise to have a plan B (even if it will make you hesitate even more).
