What did you learn in the Business Japanese classes at Linguage Japanese Language School?

I first studied Japanese in Taiwan for five years. I was able to speak everyday Japanese to some extent, but in order to find a job in Japan, I chose a Japanese language school where I could learn business Japanese. First, I learned the Japanese language's unique humble and respectful language, which enabled me to use honorific expressions more accurately and smoothly than before. Next, I learned how to answer the phone and reply to business e-mails, which gave me an image of how to use them in practice. Under the guidance of the teachers, I was able to find a better job by repeatedly analyzing myself and the job I wanted to do while developing my language skills in this way. Of course, our teachers did their best to help us prepare for the JLPT, and I passed the N1 test without a hitch.

Did your teacher give you any advice on job hunting?

In my school classes, my teachers always gave me advice that was tailored to my learning situation. Reinforcing business vocabulary for work, correcting my resume, and mock interviews were very helpful. Our teacher corrected pronunciation errors and grammar mistakes that I was not aware of, and I felt that I was improving my Japanese in a way that would be easy to convey to others.

Message to those with a dream of "I want to work in Japan"

Studying abroad was very new to me, and it was my first challenge. There were happy times and sad and painful times, but all of them became precious memories in my life, and all of them became a source of growth for me. What I want to say to everyone is that it is important to believe in yourself and take the first step. There are many things you can learn only by coming to a place and experiencing it firsthand. If you are thinking about finding a job, it is essential to be able to speak Japanese fluently, and as a foreigner, you should find your strengths, whether it be a second or third language, specialized skills, or anything else, and make the most of what you can do to appeal to others, and your chances of finding a job will increase. I wish each of you the best of luck in realizing your dreams.
